In some cases, credits such as who the actors are may appear whilst the thrill is occurring, however this is more often not the case, and the credits appear at the end when all the drama and thrill is over. The audience are usually engaged by the thrills going on and are too nervous to be distracted by text, and then end up either missing te thriller side of it or missing the important credits. This makes the credits more memorable as the audience does not have to be submerged in thrills whilst trying to remember the credits and titles of the film, as well as the release date.
