The green screen was set up by Joe and I on the back wall of the stage. It didn’t take long to set up and we just strapped in down with duct tape. We tried to stretch it out so there was no creases that would appear on our footage.

We will film Jaq on this stage when he sits on a desk, and we will try and edit the background to show the London Skyscraper like the typical BBC News Report.

As you can see in the bottom left photo Joe is adjusting the lights so the shadows weren’t as prominent. We spent around 20 minutes adjusting lights and setting up the green screen so it was as good as possible.

We then filmed Jaq the following week reading from the script we prepared for him, we then editing the BBC news report in the background to make it seem authentic.

We played around with this so we know what to expect what when we do our final cut. Once we got the hang of it, we found it quite easy you just have to follow certain steps. This will help us when perfecting the editing and .
